Olivia Culpo doesn’t seem head over heels for this video.
Less than a week after she tied the knot with Christian McCaffrey, the former Miss Universe responded to online criticism over her wedding day commentary.
In a video recently posted to TikTok, Jessica Weslie Arena reflected on how Olivia told Vogue she wore little makeup down the aisle.
“For Vogue to even point these things out just gave me such weird vibes,” the content creator, who praised the model’s look in other videos, said. “Because obviously Olivia Culpo did something in order to not wear mascara, in order to not wear a lip liner, in order to not wear a pencil on her eyebrows. Be so for real, Vogue. Stop being a pick-me.”
After seeing the video, Olivia—who previously shared she got a lash lift—reacted to the post.
“It was an interview…..” she commented. “They asked me what my makeup was……………………….”
Olivia isn’t the only one to react to critics as her new husband also came to her defense.
In fact, Christian spoke out after stylist Kennedy Bingham, a.k.a. Gown Eyed Girl, shared a video in which she said Olivia’s comments about the dress induced an “eyeroll” and that the wedding look felt like a “disingenuous, pick-me route.”
“What an evil thing to post online,” the San Francisco 49ers star commented. “I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does.”
Following Christian’s remark, Kennedy wrote in the comments, “Like…EVIL? And *I’m* the mean one??”
Nevertheless, it seems like Olivia enjoyed her wedding—with her calling it on TikTok the “best day of my life.”

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey set off on a private plane ahead of their wedding in June 2024.
"Let it begin," the beauty queen captioned the June 24 photos of their grand send-off.
Olivia, 32, and Christian, 28, celebrated their takeoff by locking lips on the jet, which was decked out in white rose petals.
Naturally, her dog Oliver joined her and the NFL quarterback on the flight ahead of their nuptials.
The couple—who have been dating since 2019—fueled up on chicken lettus wraps and ahi sushi bowls before the big weekend, with Olivia snapping a pic of the menu in front of her white 'fit, including an on-theme Hermes Birkin bag.
The former Miss Universe cooled off in a baby blue bikini by Montce Swim on June 25 as she prepared to kick off the festivities.
